"Magpie" by Claude Monet.
Many of the students didn't realize that a Magpie is a type of bird. This painting is a wonderful example of Impressionist art. It shows the attempt of the Impressionist artists to display sunlight in its many forms. In this case the beautiful sunlight of a cold winter landscape.
