Welcome to Dream, Draw Create!
This blog features art projects for children. These projects have been used in my classes. My lessons allow children to learn about all the elements and principles of art while striving to introduce them to many genres of art.

Action Line Paintings

My Primary students came into art class after a full morning of outdoor activities for their end of the year field day event. Needless to say they were all tuckered out! This lesson fit the bill. I had seen a similar idea posted on one other art blog so decided to try it out using my version of "action lines". We drew our lines with pastels and then chose a watercolor resist to fill in the negative spaces created by the lines. It turned into a very relaxing and rewarding activity for the students and myself.
