Welcome to Dream, Draw Create!
This blog features art projects for children. These projects have been used in my classes. My lessons allow children to learn about all the elements and principles of art while striving to introduce them to many genres of art.

Breathtaking Sunflowers

I loved the way these Sunflowers turned out!  My sixth year students did an amazing job of displaying their own unique style.  Their creativity never ceases to amaze and delight me.  We used black construction paper as the foundation for our line drawing which was then outlined with glue.  I think perhaps if I could change anything it would be to suggest to the students that they create a wider line with the glue so as to see the beautiful textures this technique creates.  I was very pleased however with their application of the oil pastels.  I hope their work takes your breath away as it did mine.
Enjoy!
