My art elective group enjoyed creating masks for Mardi Gras out of paper plates, streamers, glitter and markers. We took some time learning about the significance of the colors associated with this religious celebration as well as many of the traditional customs. We learned that Purple represents Justice. Green represents Faith and Gold represents Power.
Welcome to Dream, Draw Create!
This blog features art projects for children. These projects have been used in my classes. My lessons allow children to learn about all the elements and principles of art while striving to introduce them to many genres of art.
