Welcome to Dream, Draw Create! This blog features art projects for children. These projects have been used in my classes. My lessons allow children to learn about all the elements and principles of art while striving to introduce them to many genres of art.

Adirondack Landscapes - Grade 3

My lower elementary students did a wonderful job with this lesson on landscape painting.  This past summer Georgia O'Keefe had an exhibit at the nearby Hyde Museum.  Because my students are all familiar with Lake George, it was easy for my them to understand how O'Keefe was inspired by this beautiful region.
I recently was inspired by a lesson over at PAINTED PAPER, please check it out http://paintedpaperintheartroom.blogspot.com/2013/09/lake-george-ny-landscapes.html
