Welcome to Dream, Draw Create!
This blog features art projects for children. These projects have been used in my classes. My lessons allow children to learn about all the elements and principles of art while striving to introduce them to many genres of art.

Valuable Owls

This is a repeat of an old favorite.  Students in grade 4 learned about value.  They practiced mixing paint and adding purple or blue to their white paint to create rings around the moon.
The black silhouetted owls on a tree branch added a touch of whimsy to this valuable lesson.
