Welcome to Dream, Draw Create!
This blog features art projects for children. These projects have been used in my classes. My lessons allow children to learn about all the elements and principles of art while striving to introduce them to many genres of art.

Egyptian Portrait Lids

Students in grades 5 and 6 created these stunning Paper Mache portrait lids.  The backgrounds were done using textured rubber rollers on butcher paper.
I was really pleased at how well the students were able to draw their God or Goddess on the forms. I had spray painted them gold in preparation.  Sharpies were used to color them in.
